SOSFS 2011: 9 - Quality system for Care & Care
Projects carried out on site with you or remotely!
SOSFS 2011: 9 is the National Board of Health and Welfare's regulations and rules on how organizations in the health and care sector should work with quality.
The purpose of the management system is to be able to systematically and continuously develop and ensure the quality and patient safety in operations. The management system helps to establish principles for the management of businesses.
All organizations and companies covered by the Health and Medical Services Act (1982: 763), the Dental Care Act (1985: 125), LSS (1993: 387), the Social Services Act (2001: 453) and the Patient Safety Act (2010: 659) need a documented system according to SOSFS 2011: 9.
We have extensive experience of creating and implementing management systems according to SOSFS 2011: 9 in several different activities such as home care, escort and relief service, housing support, personal assistance, day care, care staffing and HVB.
Project management and service agreement
We offer projects where we create and implement the required documentation and create an efficient work process to comply with SOSFS 2011: 9 in the daily work. The documentation includes values, collaboration, self-controls, risk assessment, policy, processes and routines as well as related templates. Together with you, we set up routines that work practically and distribute areas of responsibility within the organization. We also train your staff internally during the project.
We also offer a service agreement where we take the ongoing responsibility as external quality manager. We handle annual audits of quality work, law enforcement, documentation, internal training and general support in various issues.
In the service agreement, we take responsibility for:
- Implementation of the management system
- Annual internal review / audit
- Self-checks
- Risk assessment
- Quality report
- Patient safety report
- Internal training in quality work
- Support in various ongoing issues
A quality management system provides benefits such as:
- Reduced risk of errors and incidents
- Better precision in the management of the business
- The staff gets a better understanding of the whole
- Increased competitiveness and greater chance of winning procurements
- Stronger brand
